WILL THE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION GO INTO RECEIVERSHIP? Darlings, ain’t nobody likes having their business diddled with. But the fact is money talks and everything else walks. Will the Department of Education (DOE) go into receivership? Let’s see what the tarot has to reveal.
After meditating a bit on the issue at hand, the card that appeared was the Two of Swords. In the card there is a young woman, blindfolded, her arms crossing her chest while holding a sword in each hand. The imagery indicated here is someone, or something, unwilling to let their guard down. Would you approach someone in this position? Startle her and she may swing wildly! But since she’s blindfolded whose fault would it be? There is a complexity surrounding this issue because it seems to me that there is a sense of pride that is fighting to retain its stance. Are there people in the department of education who are unwilling to take outside direction because they are operating from a pride-based response? This card is indicating there is a “stuck” energy working here and I do believe it is DOE that is somehow stuck. Swords don’t typically indicate finances. That would be more the realm of pentacles, or coins. I get the feeling that there is a lack of able individuals with firm leadership skills manning the helm of the department.
Because of the feeling of defensiveness being exuded, no one wants to approach this situation given its delicate underpinnings. Who goes in and cleans another’s house? However, because of its public standing something must be done and it will. The Two of Swords showed where the DOE is at currently. I asked the tarot, What is going to happen now? The card that appeared was The High Priestess, reversed. Now, the High Priestess is an interesting card because it is one that can be both illuminating and damning. She holds in her hands ancient secrets that will only be revealed at her behest. On either side of her are pillars, one black one white, which represents the inherent duality of the universe in which we live. In the reversed position, order turns into chaos and that seems to be what may happen here.
The feeling I get is that a powerful figure, perhaps a female, will sweep into the DOE and do a complete internal overhaul. I suggest internal because the High Priestess, unlike the Hierophant, does her work in areas not clearly defined, e.g. the unconscious, instinctive, and emotional. Any stubbornness on the part of the DOE will soon be quashed as the High Priestess goes about cleaning up from the inside out.
It seems darling that the DOE going into receivership is a very likely possibility. It would all depend on whether they willingly clean up their act or require someone else, someone more powerful and with absolute ruthlessness, to do it for them. Be forewarned, nenes!
